Want to Know How To Make Money Selling on Amazon? – I Am Here To Help!
If you shop online, you have probably purchased something on Amazon. They offer good shipping, great prices, and have a selection that is far better than any regular store.
The truth is that behind most of Amazon’s transactions, there are a few people generating revenue other than Amazon. Amazon has sellers, people that post products for sell on Amazon and ship them, and Amazon has associates that refer others to the Amazon site, who in exchange earn a commission that is usually 4-10% depending on the product you are selling.
I personally am an affiliate marketer for Amazon, because it requires no shipping, no inventory, and you can earn commission from millions of products that Amazon has.
Selling Products on Amazon
I want to show you EXACTLY how I earn money on Amazon. It is very simple, but if you get stuck go to the bottom of this page and leave a comment so I can help.
I have a niche website that I created using the
website builder at Wealthy Affiliate
that targets the fitness niche, and it has TONS of information for weight loss and performance goals. One thing that I discuss is workouts that you can do at home. Anyone that reads my workouts will get an affiliate
promotion from me that shows what equipment is needed (if any) is needed for the exercises, and an example would be Adjustable Dumbbells .
promotion from me that shows what equipment is needed (if any) is needed for the exercises, and an example would be Adjustable Dumbbells .
This is an amazon product. I joined the Amazon Affiliate Program, which is free, grabbed my affiliate link to the product, added it to my website (add to picture and/or text), so if anyone ever goes from my link to Amazon and buys it, I a commission.
Your commissions will show up on your Amazon affiliate account. Here is an example, however there are no bounties, only a small fee that was earned for a shipping payment.
I also get commissions from anything else people want to add to their cart before checking out of Amazon.
Isn’t that awesome? If people click on my link and buy more than what they are looking for at the same time, then I will get the commissions. I will take more money in my pocket any day of the week!
There are MILLIONS of products and ways to generate an income .
Amazon sells millions of items every day, and their company includes well over 100 million different products that you can promote as an affiliate.
What?! ONE HUNDRED MILLION?!? Yes!
Every single one of the items on Amazon is an opportunity for an affiliate marketer (like me or you) to make money. I have been in the online world for 2 years now, and knowing there is
unlimited opportunity
online excites me tremendously!
How Does Amazon Pay You?
There are several ways Amazon offers for you to get paid if you an affiliate. You can get paid with:
- Amazon Gift Card (minimum $10 earnings)
- Direct Deposit to your bank (minimum $10 earnings, USA only)
- Pay By Check ($100 minimum earnings)
I choose to get paid when I reach affiliate earnings of at least $50 or greater with Direct Deposit, but it is completely up to you. They pay out on the 1st of each month, and you will receive your commissions promptly.
However, you cannot just join the affiliate program and expect commissions. You need to understand how to build a successful affiliate marketing business/website, and for this I strongly recommend that you get some training. There are many people that earn a living from Amazon through affiliate marketing. Mostly because, you don’t have to provide the products, pay for the shipping, and you don’t have to do any inventory, just send people from your site over to Amazon.
This leads me to another opportunity outside of Amazon’s affiliate program. OTHER affiliate programs!!
There is Opportunity Outside of Amazon.
There are tens of thousands of products in every niche out there. If you are new to affiliate marketing or just finding out about affiliate programs, this may surprise you. There are some companies that are willing to pay up to 75% commission per sale.
Amazon pays 6-10%, but there are many higher paying affiliate programs.
Here are just a few examples:
Zappos.com
:
8-18% per sale
WeightWatchers: $10 per sale
Verizon Wireless: 25% per sale
Options House: $60 per sale
Monster.com : 12-17% per sale
Care.com : $50 per sale
WeightWatchers: $10 per sale
Verizon Wireless: 25% per sale
Options House: $60 per sale
Monster.com : 12-17% per sale
Care.com : $50 per sale
There are MANY more, which means there is a TON of opportunities out there.
When you understand that almost every major retailer has an affiliate program, and almost every product/service can be sold through an affiliate program, it should get you extremely excited.
Regardless of what your passion, interest, or niche you want to build your business within, there is going to be millions of affiliate programs you can promote through.
But to be successful as an affiliate, you need to understand the fundamentals of creating a long term, and very successful affiliate marketing business/website. And for this you need
proper training
.

3. Websites, Hosting, and Keyword Tools
4. Help when you need it
5. Support from industry experts
There is ONLY one program that offers all of this in one place, without any cost to you. It’s called Wealthy Affiliate (
read my review here
).
There are an abundance of programs out there trying to sell you on the idea of the “next big thing” in this industry. That doesn’t exist. There is a proven strategy that worked back in 2002, and to this day it continues to work.
It all begins with choosing an interest (your niche), creating a website about that niche, learning how to get ranked in search engines (Google), and then making money through affiliate programs like Amazon. This is all taught within
Wealthy Affiliate
and if you decide to join, which is completely free, I (Karissa) am going to be here to personally help you if you ever get stuck.
If you have any questions about Amazon anything related to this post, please leave your comments below and I will be more than happy to help.
Live well and Live on,
Karissa
