What Is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is an online rewards and cashback program, and it is free to join as well as safe to use. It is more inviting than other cashback programs, which is why I like it so much. They also offer more ways to earn points or “swagbucks” than similar sites. You can earn swagbucks (their name for credits or points) by inviting friends, searching the web using their search engine, watching videos, playing games, shopping, taking surveys, etc.
There are many more ways to earn swagbucks, but those are the quick & easy methods that you probably do daily. Now you can get paid for what you already do!

How does Swagbucks work?
How much swagbucks you earn depends on what you participate in. You can earn 1SB(swagbuck) just for watching a video, or take a survey and earn 80SB. Sometimes you get more, sometimes you get less.
Shopping online seems to me like the BEST way to earn swagbucks. For example, for every $1 you spend on Amazon.com you can earn up to 5SB. There are different amounts of swagbucks you can earn for different stores. If you want to get paid to do what you are already doing then this is definitely for you, but if you want to create an income online it may not be.
Pros and Cons of Swagbucks
Pros
- Earn money by doing what you may be doing anyway
- It is free to join
- There is an app so you can do it on your smartphone.
Cons
- The money you earn isn’t very much (see below)
- This is not something you can create an income from, if you try that you will waste your time.
How Much Does Swagbucks Cost?
You can join Swagbucks for FREE. To do the math, it takes 100 Swagbucks(SB) to equal $1 dollar.
Let me break this down for you. You can earn SB by watching a video. Some common offers include watching a collection of 5 videos for 1SB, which takes about 15 minutes to watch. So if you do that 4 times that will take an hour. Here is the math below:
15 x 4 = 60 minutes
1SB x 4= 4SB, which is equal to $0.04
So at this rate you are making $0.04 an hour. Not ideal I know! I’ve also seen some surveys that take about 20 minutes, and those can get you about 80SB. That totals to about $2.40 an hour, but only when those offers are available. If you were to buy something on Amazon for $50 then that would give you about 300SB, which is $3.00.
It is completely up to you how you want to earn swagbucks, but don’t expect to make a living off of it.
Final Thought
There are two types of Swagbucks users. You have the occasional users that just do it to get cashback for the things they do every day. Then you have people who are literally chasing these swagbucks, and mostly just wasting their time. This program reminds me a lot of my review on Get Paid Social . Same concept!
Swagbucks can be exciting, but it is very time consuming and gives you very little reward for your time spent. If you just want to kill some time by watching videos or surfing the web, and earn a little bit in the process, then Swagbucks is the place for you. This is not for someone trying to create an income online!
I work online and on my own schedule, but this wasn’t automatic. I had no experience when I started, just a dream. I have explored MANY options trying to be successful online, and I am proud to say I have finally found what works for me. I honestly believe it can work for you too! If you are serious about earning a full-time income online from anywhere, click the link below for more information. You do not have to have any experience, and it is FREE.
